finally got my camera–i decided not to trust online places and just bought it at a regular store. anywho, im extremely excited about learning how to take better hdr photos with it.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand i got a fish eye lens and have been playing around with it the past 2 days. I now have to get an external flash because it makes the lens too long and theres a shadow. oh wells. I’ll post some of my favorite new photos soon. right now im busy updating etsy-someone just bought a book, yay!! (www.ceramicjen.etsy.com)
so i ventured into the world of craft fairs…it was extremely hot, but fun. We were in downtown savannah in the “bad” part of town…a place where tourists wouldnt venture. lol so needless to say no one was doing well. Locals were looking for garage sale deals and crap things. I was in between a vegan belt maker and the fishman of tybee island. he sells junk…like broken old crappy tables, fans, and vases. anywho, he made more money than everyone else combined.
I was the only pottery vender there which was nice. there were about 5 jewelry vendors–one of which i loved because she used a lot of birds in her imagery. there was a fabric design girl—lovvved her stuff.
if the fair was in a different location i think everyone would have done better. but, overall it was a good experience and im glad i did it. heres a few pics from the event. (my booth looked the best i do believe!)
