My new favorite artist at the moment

i am constantly looking for artists to draw inspiration from and i found one that crosses over  from ceramics to jewelry making!  Her name is Sarah Perkins.  She enamels onto large vessels made of metal.  Her forms mimic thrown pieces and remind me of the images i see daily.  If i was conflicted before whether or not to change majors to metalsmithing, this doesnt help!  Today Jane (my ceramics professor) told me that her and the jewelry professor were fighting over me and another student.  She wanted us to be jewelry majors and Jane screamed, NO THEYRE MINE! haha  its kind of sad, there are only like 5 ceramic majors…and around the same for jewelry so anyone they can get is appreciated.  I am thinking of double majoring though…..we’ll see.  I would like to graduate sometime soon lol
