Miss Teen USA 2007 – South Carolina answers a question
Since school started back today, i felt the need to reflect on my not so long summer. I took many pictures and just havent uploaded anything in a long time.
First part of summer: Jewelry class, this was probably my favorite part of summer, dorky i know….summer class was my favorite part of summer! lol Here are some of my designs:
Then, summer camp…no pictures of this part, but just imagine 50 screaming 7 year olds and you have a pretty good picture!
Then, of course Annie and Harry time : )
I spent some time in atl with emma–

As you can see, i love blurry pictures : ) Thats Heidi carring a tray if you cant tell.
Spent some time with my brother!

We ate at a Thai place….i dont know if we’ll be able to go back any time soon! haha
went to the turtle center on jekyll:

he was cute!!
ok thats it….now back to school and being super busy yet again.
im not so ready for school to start back (Monday). It’s going to be really hard and strange to go back into the ceramics studio. The last week of last semester a classmate killed himself. I watched a law and order earlier about suicide and it brought it all back. How instead of our final exam, our professor brought counselors in to talk to us, and how none of us could look at each other without crying. Granted, i wasn’t best friends with him, but it still weirds you out when someone you know and see everyday takes his life. I’ve never had to deal with something like that before. It makes you wonder if you could have done something to help him, or just been a little bit more chatty with him. It was shocking because he always had a smile on his face and made jokes…
I just hope his family is dealing well with all this, i feel so bad for them.
anywho, i am looking forward to my jewelry class–so much so that i think i should change my major….because im not so excited about my major classes!
Josh and sara come to visit tomorrow, at least ill be able to spend some time with my brother before i go back to statesboro….who knows when ill be able to go back up to atlanta.
annnnnnnnd. good night!
so ive been on a huge sewing kick lately! I’ve been trying to make use out of my sewing machine : ) Emma and i went on a fabric hunt while i was up in atlanta, and found some really good deals. Surprisingly, IKEA has really great fabric for super cheap–so of course i got a bunch!

i want this book, but i have discovered several dilemmas–its written in japanese and i cant find it anywhere besides amazon japan…and they only translate half the pages and im scared to buy something 13000 yen!! who knows what could happen to my card haha
if anyone finds the book, let me know…the isbn is 483472235X.
i wanna make this bird purse!
