im a walking zombie this week, and for the next two weeks. Art camp is fun, but oh so tiring. I’m with the upcoming first and second graders–age 6 and 7. they are adorable, but can be very annoying. they need help with everything, and they need help right that second.
i hate it when it feels like you are the only one working. Me and lindsey usually get stuck with all the kids for lunch, while the three other assistants are hanging out in the break room or hiding somewhere else. we are all getting paid equally and not doing the same amount of work…urrghh. i hate it sometimes. and i dont know how to handle that situation, because we could use some help…but our director kinda plays favorites….
anyways, im missing my annie. shes at home with my parents and harry, and im sure she is having a ball. im going home tomorrow to see the fam, im excited. i think a beach trip is in order!

as it turns out, i think annie is fine. The vet down here immediately said she had a hernia, but the vet my mom uses ran some tests and doesnt think there is a hernia, he thinks that it is scar tissue surrounding a stitch under the skin. So hopefully things will work out and she wont have to have surgery–shes been through enough!
I went home this weekend and just relaxed, summer school is over. which im kinda bummed about because i was really enjoying making jewelry–its so much fun. but tomorrow i start work at the art camp. I’m with the first and second graders, and im paired up with my printmaking professor. im really super excited. Shes from Argentina and has a pretty cool accent. And not to mention, she loves me (of course!!) haha kidding, but seriously, shes cool. Its supposed to last for three weeks, but we need more kids to make it work, i wouldnt mind not having it three weeks, one more week of summer for me!
i got a new cell phone today (FINALLY). i hated my old phone, it was cracking and the battery died like every day. no more old school phone for jenny : ) meet new jenny phone:
poor little annie has a hernia in her tummy! im so mad i cant think straight! the vet she had her operation (spay) from did a horrible job, so bad they had to go back in and fix it. This was before i adopted her. Shortly after i adopted her, she got an infection in her stitches and that had to be taken care of. And now, she has a hernia! these people are incompetent and no longer are Annie’s vet. The other day i noticed a pea size bump on her belly and everyday since then it has gotten progressively larger (now quarter size). My parents wanted me to try their vet, he promised to fix her right! haha so shes going home with my mom tomorrow while i stay here at school : ( I just know it has to hurt, or at least feel weird, so i hope they can take her as soon as possible. well, wish her luck and ill give updates soon: )
time to go watch america’s got talent….which this show proves really doesnt.
